Flyers are my favorite!!! I love finding them and seeing what people are promoting/sharing locally. Especially magical after getting off of social media. Helps me to feel connected to what’s going on in my city <3
i love love love this and flyers and kind of h8 my own tendency to want to tenderly unstaple flyers for events with dates past, but maybe that is a service too
Ha I actually had a line about that exact thing in here in one of my first drafts!! It’s like housekeeping of the commons, especially if it’s in service of clearing space for your thing
As someone who grew up drawing flyers as a part of the early 80’s punk scene, I’ve loved them all my life. Lately, as I’ve moved away from social media, I’ve been really into discovering stuff from flyers again. I just found a band I really like called The Eye See You’s who I likely never would’ve encountered had I not seen a cool flyer for their record in my neighborhood.
YES show posters will always extra catch my eye; always curious about new bands and where the hell they are playing if it’s not the few main venues here
Yes yes yes this is 1000% it and meditative is a perfect word. i need to flyer with other folks more often too; i maybe love it too much as a solo meditative act!
I believe so deeply in the flyer and have used it for so many things pivotal to my life and work. Lovely to see this
Artist Nathaniel Russell is the king of irreverent, ridiculous fake flyers!

Yesss i always love stumbling across these!!!
Easter egg hunt for dogs!
that flyer has _layers_. it's like "sorry, hunt for dogs?" and then it's like oh no, easter egg hunt...for dogs...making less sense by the minute
Why is this flyer calling me an easter egg and asking me to hunt for dogs???
Easter egg, hunt for dogs
